Product introduction:
Two pieces of shell: the color is mostly red, others need to be customized, internal processing groove, groove connection is more convenient, fast and safe
A rubber ring: the material is mostly EPDM or fluorine rubber, to ensure that the internal seal does not leak
Four bolts and nuts: High strength galvanized bolts and nuts, corrosion resistance, high compressive strength
The channel type ultra-high pressure pipe joint is suitable for mining, Marine and other high pressure pipe system.
It is a two-grooved pipe coupling that can withstand 40Mpa of pressure.
The shell is made of ductile iron, according to ASTM A536 65-45-12
The rubber gasket has a special design with “C” profile that creates an effective seal in three steps:
1.When assembling stretched rubber gasket that is slightly smaller than a pipe diameter of the two pipe ends and create a first seal.
2.The coupling halves are then placed around the gasket which adapts to them. The coupling halves are bolted together to further improve the sealing.
3.When the piping system is pressurized, a ”pressure reserve” is created due to the profile of the gasket. The sealing lips are pressed at the increasing pressure harder down against the gasket seating surface which creates the third seal and makes the connection completely leak-proof and airtight.
