TONTR Grooved End Cap Listings, Approvals, and Other Information
Each cap is made by TONTR, a China manufacturer of fire sprinkler grooved pipe fittings, HVAC, plumbing and grooved tubing.
All TONTR grooved piping system fittings are UL Listed and FM Approved.
All TONTR Ductile Iron pipe fittings conform to ASTM A536 Grade 65-45-12.
Allowable pipe end separation is for cut groove pipe for roll groove; figures will be one-half of the values listed at time of initial pressurization.
Certain TONTR product families and all GemLock Grooved fittings 8 in.
Shurjoint grooved-end fittings are made of ductile iron per ASTM A536 Gr. 65-45-12 and or ASTM A395 Gr. 65-45-15. C-E dimensions are manufacturer's standard.
Orange painted ductile iron.
Pressure Ratings for fittings conform to the working pressure of the coupling used to join the system.
Warning: Piping systems must always be depressurized and drained before attempting disassembly and or removal of any components.
