GROOVED Rigid Coupling
Grooved mechanical couplings conform to ASTM F1476.
Ductile iron pipe couplings and fittings material con-form to ASTM A536 Grade 65-45-12.
Coatings of Orange/Red Paint or Hot Dipped Galvanized Conforming to ASTM A153.
Gasket Grade EPDM (Colors can be customized) -30°F (-34°C) to +230°F(+110°C)
Caution
For environments where aggressive, corrosive atmosphereis expected (e.g. direct outdoor exposure, direct contact withwater, industrial atmosphere etc.)
Coupling bolts and nuts madeof stainless steel (type A4 respective 316) are available.
Thesestainless steel bolts and nuts are MoS2 coated grey-black tonhibit galling.
ln addition, special surface coatings (e.g. Rilsan, Resicoat etc.)are available.
NoteEPDM gaskets must never be brought into contact with lubricants or oils containing mineral oils, as well as other materialscontaining mineral oils (e.g. fuels or cleaning agents).
AssemblyUse suitable lubricants for the EPDM sealing only.
